Angela Crickmore managed to lose more than 70lbs in just 8 months. Being used to her natural slim self during her younger days, Angela knew that she had to put a stop to her bad eating habits and unhealthy lifestyle which made her gain weight … more than she ever bargained for.

Her weight gain started to get out of control during the happiest times of a girl’s life – her wedding. Maybe planning the big event made her eat because she was nervous, or maybe it’s all because of the inactive lifestyle she was leading at the time. Going only to work and back, eating unhealthy dishes and then lying in front of the TV can result in excessive weight. And things didn’t seem to improve over the years.

Angela was at an unhappy stage in life. She believes that marriage with her now ex-husband was a rushed decision and there were so many cracks in their married life. But there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel! In 2011, things were about to take a different direction. After meeting up with her friend who had recently lost over 20lbs, something changed in Angela. At 182lbs, Crickmore had a revelation; no more will she disrespect her body like that! Before she decided to change her lifestyle, Angela got to a point when even walking was a huge struggle. No more, she thought; this was the breaking point. As any other journey, Angela’s too began with a first step. And it was not an easy one to make. The gym was not an option for her because her self-confidence was still low and she was too ashamed to work out with other people. She thought about jogging, but her weight didn’t allow her to jog either. So, walking is what Angela did.

When she became lighter, she started to jog. Step by step she was achieving her goal. Soon enough she decided to overhaul her diet and started hitting the gym. No longer was she struggling with low self-esteem. She took to posting snaps and inspirational messages on social media, thus inspiring thousands of people and attracting followers. Her new-found love of fitness took her to the next level – she got a degree in sports nutrition.

Other than losing weight, Angela lost another thing that was weighing her down. Her then-husband. Sadly, the new regime Angela dedicated her life to played a major role in the breakdown of her marriage.
But, when one door closes, another one opens. In late 2016, Mark Rogers needed a personal trainer. Of course, he wanted Angela. Angela took upon his invitation to train him for 10 days, but only after 5 days they knew they’ve clicked. It took them only a month to get engaged.

The popular nineteen year old American fitness model has more to show than just her beauty as she is also a social media personality, having an impressive amount of over 7.9 million followers on her Instagram account (@sommerray). She also has over five thousand subscribers on her twitter account (@SommerRayy).

She is from Denver, Colorado, also known as the centennial state. She’s about 5’6” and weighs around 120 lbs. Her parents were both competitive bodybuilders, which most probably contributed to her interest in fitness. To show that anyone, any size, any shape, any nationality, can do anything they want, have an impact and actually be able to make an impact in someone's life. Being able to bring a unique look to anything can help sell the brand.

What are your other career goals and passion?
Makeup and hair techniques/styles are my hidden talents. I didn’t go to school for these but I absolutely love doing both as an expression of personal style, perhaps ultimately being able to work with people that share my same outlook

Hi! I'm Shayna, I'm 18 years old, and I am currently in Colorado. I'm am completely in love with fitness and living a healthy, positive lifestyle. I was bullied a lot in middle school and I started using the gym as a way to distress, and ever since then, it has changed my life. I'm a gym rat, and I've dedicated myself to fitness. I like eating healthy, it makes me feel confident and the gym has just become a second home to me. The biggest challenge is finding time in my busy schedule to get it done, but if you want something bad enough you can get it.

Other than going to the gym, I love art. I've been an artist since I was little and actually used to win awards for my art. I love creating new things and sharing my ideas with people.

To be honest, I couldn't pin point my motivation to one thing. The people who message me and tell me I've inspired them or changed their life in some way is absolutely incredible, I think that may be the thing that keeps me going the most. Also, wanting to stay healthy for myself and wanting to build a career around my fitness plays a huge role in my motivation.

Modeling experience?
Yes, recently many local photographers have been reaching out to me wanting to shoot. I have a lot of fun doing it, it comes very natural. I can't really explain it, it just feels right, like it's what I'm supposed to do. I want to build a career around fitness and modeling and be 100% dedicated to it everyday.

Do you have existing partnerships with brands?
Kind of, I work with a brand called Modere, and I specifically focus on selling one of their products called Trim, which is a weight loss supplement. But it's very low key and I don't post about it a lot, I mostly just refer it to friends and family who are looking to lose weight.
